Why Shepherds Inbox

Software that thinks like a shepherd

Built for churches, not sales teams

Ministries, teams, and follow-up — not pipelines and deals. Shepherds Inbox speaks your language from the first screen.

A follow-up rhythm, not another database

The queue tells you exactly who's waiting, how long they've waited, and what to do next — so care doesn't depend on memory.

Simple enough to actually use

Designed to be simple enough for real ministry teams. If your team can use email, Shepherds Inbox should feel familiar from the start.

How it works

From “I'd like to help” to truly plugged in

  1. Step 1

    Share one simple form

Every church gets a public volunteer sign-up page. Put the link in your bulletin, on a QR code, or on your website so people can raise a hand without creating an account or downloading an app.

  2. Step 2

    See every sign-up land

New volunteers appear on your dashboard when they sign up, and the right leaders can be notified by email or text so follow-up starts quickly.

  3. Step 3

    Follow up, every time

The leader queue shows each person assigned to that ministry, so the leader can open the record, log contact, and keep the care loop moving until the volunteer has truly heard back.

Questions

What Shepherds Inbox helps your church do

What happens when someone fills out the volunteer form?

The volunteer receives the church’s confirmation experience, the submission appears in Shepherds Inbox, and the appropriate ministry leaders can be notified by email or text based on the ministries selected.

Can one person choose more than one ministry?

Yes. A volunteer can express interest in multiple ministries, and each relevant ministry team can follow up about its own serving opportunity.

How does Shepherds Inbox prevent missed follow-up?

The queue shows who still needs contact, reminders surface overdue follow-up, and admins can see where attention is needed without digging through spreadsheets or message threads.

Does it replace our church management system?

No. Shepherds Inbox is focused on the follow-up loop: capturing interest, notifying leaders, logging contact, and helping people take the next step.

Can leaders use Shepherds Inbox on their phones?

Yes. Shepherds Inbox is mobile optimized, so leaders can open a sign-up notification, review the volunteer’s details, and log follow-up from their phone without needing to sit at a desk.
